Ma-Lai-Ko •

Ma-Lai-Ko also known as Malay sponge cake.

In Chinese it written as "馬拉糕" and known as Ma-Lai-Go in Cantonese and Ma-Lai-Gao in Mandarin, it is a popular dessert cake in Guangdong and Hong Kong.

It usually can be seen at a traditional teahouse in Guangdong and Hong Kong. 

Ma-Lai-Ko is made up of butter, flour, and eggs, by using bamboo steamer to give puffiness. An entire Ma-Lai-Ko is a huge brown round cake.

The taste is very soft, sweet and chewy.
